Dubstep Alliance is a Dubstep-focused night that launched in October 2007 with feature act DJ Pinch (Tectonic Recordings, Planet Mu, UK). Dubstep Alliance Soundsystem with DJs Oogun, Seeka, Manaia Toa, Jah Praise and MC Dapht One are available for bookings by making contact through this site. We hold a regular dance to showcase the Heavyweight Sound every fortnight in premium venues around central Auckland.
Mind The Basstrap is a locals ‘Mash-Up’ night (including the sounds of Dubstep, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Grime and Jungle) held during the summer months. The first edition went down in January 2007 and attracted a diverse and up for it boogie massive.
Urban Camouflage is a Drum & Bass-focused night that launched in February 2005 and hosted international acts Outrage (Metalheadz, UK), Raiden (Offkey, UK) and Robyn Chaos (Anger Management, UK). This event has also hosted many New Zealand acts and DJs including Agent Alvin, Organikismness and Cern.
